OUR CURRENT AND RECENT CLIENTS

Earthcorps

Earthcorps was founded to create a global community through local environmental service. Fuse helped Earthcorps prepare a presentation for the 3rd annual Social Investors Forum, sponsored by the City of Seattle and Social Venture Partners. Our work included mission clarification, articulation of Earthcorps' strategic direction, and a needs assessment. As a result of this work, Earthcorps' became a finalist and received numerous investment dollars to fund new initiatives.

"I thoroughly enjoyed working with Fuse. They worked with me to clarify EarthCorps' message and to help me create a compelling case for supporting EarthCorps. I look forward to a long-term working relationship with Fuse. I strongly recommend their services."

- Steve Dubiel, Executive Director

PetShelter Network

PetShelter Network's mission is to promote the adoption of homeless companion animals via the internet. At a crucial point in the organization's development, Sue Clement, Executive Director of PetShelter Network, hired Fuse to assess the strategic direction of her organization. As a result, Fuse set criteria and helped interview finalists for a restructured board and subsequently conducted a board retreat to solidify core values. Additionally Fuse developed a model for evaluating and developing strategic partnerships in order to even out income streams and move PetShelter Network away from dependence on a few big donors. Using that model Petshelter Network recently partnered with One2One.com in a relationship that mutually benefits both partners.

Providence Hospice of Seattle

Fuse was hired by Hospice to develop long term partnerships with corporations. This funding methodology was developed in order to avoid the typical annual giving cycle where the nonprofit battles for dollars without a long term strategy.

"Fuse was able to assimilate the overall strategic needs of our organization, make recommendations and follow through with successful outcomes. I would not hesitate to use Fuse's services again - their knowledge and skill sets would be an asset to any organization."

- Laura Biggers, Director of Development

RealNetworks

RealNetworks, global provider of media products and services, committed itself to giving 5% of it pre-tax profits after 3 quarters of profitability. As that point grew nearer, RealNetworks hired Fuse to do a benchmark study on how companies brand themselves as socially responsible. Fuse also investigated the giving programs of other companies in their peer group, as well as major Northwest corporations. Based on this study, Fuse made recommendations to RealNetworks on the forming of their foundation. Currently, the RealNetworks Foundation is going through its first giving cycle.

Read Right Systems

This Washington based company was organized in 1991 after developing a new, innovative methodology for teaching reading. These highly effective programs are used by many corporations and schools. Read Right contracted with Fuse to review the methods being used to place these programs in schools and industry. The sales cycle is long given that there are many obstacles to overcome, including resistance to change. As a consultant, Fuse constructed strategic methods to effectively get the Read Right message to the highest level of decision making. As a strategic partner, Fuse promoted the development of business / school partnerships and supported a major school district's proposal to a leading foundation.

"Fuse's practical, high-level management and marketing expertise helps senior management develop creative strategies through a very positive 'can-do' spirit."
