FUSE'S COLLARBORATIVE SOLUTIONS SERIES

Starting in 2002 Fuse is offering a series of Collaborative Workshops to help nonprofit and business leaders hone skills in problem identification and solution, and develop networks with peers in both the nonprofit and corporate sectors.

Executive Director Collaborative Solutions Workshop(Series I)
This initial series of Collaborative Workshops is designed to help you work through the issues that are currently most important to you. Collaboratives offer you the opportunity to meet and discuss key issues with other executive directors from similar agencies. Each Collaborative will be kept at a maximum of nine participants with three facilitators guiding small group problem solving sessions. Problems discussed will be based exclusively on participants' answers to a pre-Collaborative questionnaire.

Benefits include:
  • Quality time to meet and work with "same kind" leadership.
  • Topics decided by participants rather than assumed by organizers.
  • Focus on top three challenges and work collectively on possible solutions.
  • 1:3 ratio of facilitators to participants.
  • Post Collaborative report with summaries of the major problems and solutions.
  • Long term communication channels established between Executive Directors.

Participants will also receive reports from subsequent Collaboratives, as well as access to an online Address Book for their Collaborative peers.

Scheduled Collaboratives:
Fall 2002.
